Our story
Ventura's Straight-Talking Repair Shop
Seaward Auto Care has built its name one honest repair at a time. When a customer came in for a smog check, we ran the diagnostics, explained what needed fixing in plain terms, and had them drive it fifty miles before rechecking it, no upsells, no runaround, just a truck that passed.
That same instinct shows up everywhere. A customer on a tight budget who was expecting to leave with one tire left with four and a spare instead. When a car's undercarriage came loose on the freeway, Bernardo and Nico had it fixed and the driver back on the road within the hour. When a car wouldn't start near the shop, Bernardo walked over himself to get it running.
We're open around the clock, seven days a week, because car trouble doesn't wait for business hours. Come see why customers who found us by accident end up staying for decades.
- Plain-English diagnostics, no upselling
- Same-day smog checks

What customers say
“He ran a diagnostic code, told me what to fix, and to drive the truck 50 miles and bring it back. He didn't nickel and dime me and explained everything in my terms, and at the end my truck passed smog.”
“The mechanic Bernardo is great. I came on a budget expecting to walk out with one tire. He gave me such a good deal I left with 4 and a spare. He saw I was in a bad place and lent a helping hand. This is where to go for a fair deal and great service.”
“We stumbled across this awesome shop by accident when our car had an undercarriage issue on the freeway, and we limped off into Ventura searching for a reputable business. How lucky we were to find them! The owner Bernardo and Nico were fast, friendly, very reasonably priced, and got us back on the road within an hour.”
